A science
exhibition was held with the felicitation of the chief judges- Arup Buragohain,
North Eastern Space Application, Meghalaya, Dr. Bijoy Kr Handique, Indian Space
Research Organisation and Dr. Pranab Jyoti Dutta, Scientist, Science Planetarium
Jorhat.
Dr.
Buragohain and Dr. Handique delivered a lecture on ''Space Technology - A glimpse."
They explained about the functioning of Indian Space Research Organisation and career opportunities in ISRO . They
further enlightened the students on the history of Satellite and its
classifications.
